BUILD AND INSTALL CENTER BULKHEAD #3, #4 and #5

Install station #3 – formers and bulkheads

Status:  In Progress -#3 bulkhead is complete, just need to debur, prime, then bond and rivet together. 

10/9/2016 - #3 bulkhead has been bonded and riveted together on the back side.  Just need to finish bonding the formers and  Center bulkhead Stiffener.

4/2/2016 - Initial fitting of #3 Center bulkhead, trim to fit at bottom around the tubes

4/2/2016 - Made all hat sections for #3 Center Bulkhead

 4/2/2016 - Formers had to be made to extend the bulkhead on each side by 1/2 inches.  To get the right shape, I used a long flat metal ruler as a guide attached at the top and bottom longerons to find the shape that blends into the top and bottom bulkheads.  I made a cardboard template to create the shape

4/2/2016 - Right side Former - The Flange material will be cut to length, bond and riveted to the formers.  The side skins will rivet to the Flange on each side.

4/2/2016 - The rivet lines have been marked on the bulkhead to match drill into the hat sections on the back side.

4/2/2016 - Here all holes have been matched drilled through to the hat sections and temporary cleco together.

4/3/2016 - Bulkhead #3 Supplemental - with the U-Channels to box in this bulkhead.  From the backside showing the hat sections and u-channels.

4/3/2016 - Bulkhead #3 Supplemental - the backside skin rivet line has been marked and is match drilled and Cleco in place.

The Rudder Pedal support has also been match drilled and Cleco.

9/17/2016 - 5 hrs - Removed section #2, #3 and #4 parts - Marked all parts with location for re-install after priming.

9/18/2016 - 6 hrs - Debured and sanded with scotch pad, primed all parts for section #2, #3 and $4 with duplicator self etching primer

9/24/2016 - 2 hrs - Removed section #4 and $5 Hat Sections and channels marked all parts with location for re-install after priming.  Debured sanded with scotch pad and primed.

9/25/2016 - 5 hrs - Primed all parts for Sections #2, #3, 4 and #5.

9/27/016 - 6 hrs - Finished priming parts.

9/29/2016 - 1 hrs - Sprayed Forward baggage door with black truck bedlinen spray.

10/1/2016 - 8hrs -  Re-assembled bulk heads and section #2,#3 , #4 and baggage compartment.

10/4/2016 - 4 hrs - Bond with Silicon, hat sections and u-channels front side in place and Celco
